Auxiliary members are direct female relatives or wives of veterans who served during wartime, women veterans or active-duty women, advocates for our U.S. veterans, promoting democracy and citizenship, volunteering for veterans, service members & children, and the community. Established in 1919, with over 850,000 members, we are the largest patriotic women’s organization in world with 9,500 local units available to join in the U.S.
